Where possible the Site Licence Companies (SLCs) and other participating entities seek to deliver Collaborative Procurements for goods and services through the Government Procurement Service (GPS ).
The Government Procurement Service is an executive agency of the Government Cabinet Office which provides centralised procurement of common goods and services worth £7.6bn for Central Government Departments to deliver procurement savings for the UK Public Sector as a whole. By Using the GPS the SLCs and other participating entities can realise additional benefits and savings from their Collaborative Procurements by aggregating their requirements with the much larger requirements for Central Government Departments.
