Site Stakeholder Groups
The Site Stakeholder Group (SSG) provides the community with a direct link to the site and an independent overview of site activity. It is an active two-way channel of communication between the site operator, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, who own the site, and the regulators.
Membership reflects the local community and is drawn from local politicians as well as appointed representatives from relevant organisations such as regulators, local authorities, emergency and health services.
